STANCE GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery and art advisory based in central Stockholm, showcasing some of the most renowned international artists. The gallery primarily focuses on artists whose practices are visually striking and conceptually compelling; works that challenge, inspire, and evoke thoughts and emotions while engaging with the questions and ideas of our zeitgeist. 

STANCE offers both unique works for established collectors and lowers the barriers for new ones, providing guidance, transparency, and access to outstanding contemporary art.

The name STANCE embodies its raison d'être: taking a definitive stance and a focus on practices that assert themselves with clarity, strength, and conviction. Since its founding in 2024, STANCE has rapidly established itself as one of Stockholm’s leading contemporary art galleries, offering a platform for curated projects and exchange of ideas - a space for meaningful contribution to the contemporary art discourse.

Eric Haeger brings over a decade of experience across the primary and secondary art markets. Beginning his career at Sotheby's London and later holding leadership roles in art-tech ventures, he went on to establish himself as an independent art advisor, building exceptional collections for private clients. He has lived and worked in Stockholm, London, Luxembourg, and Berlin, and his extensive international network informs the gallery's vision: to connect Stockholm's art scene with the wider currents of contemporary art globally. He holds a double B.Sc. in Business Administration and Fine Arts from Uppsala University, Sweden.
